After CII, PM Modi to address Indian Chamber of Commerce

Kolkata: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to deliver the inaugural address at Kolkata-based Indian Chamber of Commerce Annual Plenary Session 2020 at 11am on Thursday.

PM Modi will be joining the ICC Annual Plenary Session 2020 as the Chief Guest through video conference.

The virtual online meeting at the annual plenary session of the ICC assumes significance as companies are resuming operations after the government has allowed gradual phasing out of the lockdown.

This will be PM’s second major address to the business community after Unlock-1.

The PM’s address may also focus on economic growth prospects and role of indigenous brands in making India a self-reliant nation.

The Centre is now focusing on bringing the economy back on the recovery track by gradually allowing businesses to start operations.
