COVID19: Delhi resident writes poems, sings to raise awareness @drharshvardhan @ArvindKejriwal @SatyendarJain

New Delhi/Kolkata: Delhi resident Gurmel Singh Gill has launched a unique initiative to create awareness about COVID19. Gill, born and brought up in North 24 Parganas District of West Bengal, is a textile designing artist-turned-poet, living in Delhi.

To aware people about the importance of following lockdown norms and maintaining social distancing, Gill has started writing poems. The latest addition is tune from the famous Aradhana song Roop Tera Mastana.

Gurmel Singh Gill says, “I love to draw, sketch and paint. During lockdown, I spend my time sketching small comical themes related to quarantine and corona precautions.”

Gill had earlier written a poem in Bengali on COVID19 and importance of staying at home, hygiene and social distancing.
