ITC Sunfeast YiPPee! creates world record on its 10th Anniversary

Kolkata: FMCG conglomerate ITC’s popular instant noodles brand Sunfeast YiPPee! celebrated its 10th Anniversary by inviting consumers on its Facebook event page to capture and share their YiPPee! noodle eating moments.

2894 people virtually participated in the event to create the first-of-its-kind Guinness World Records for ‘Most photos of people eating noodles uploaded to Facebook in one hour’. All participants will also be receiving a memorabilia in the form of an official letter of participation by Guinness World Records® and Sunfeast YiPPee!.

YiPPee! has consolidated its position as the second largest instant noodles brand in the country and has become an INR 1000+ crore brand. It also witnessed a growth of more than 50% in the year FY 2020-21.

Witnessing an unprecedented increase in consumer demand, owing to significant uptick in essentials in recent times, the brand undertook a gamut of measures to ensure availability and enabled last mile delivery to end-consumers.

Earlier this year, YiPPee! appointed Mahendra Singh Dhoni as its brand ambassador to further propagate its offering, across all age groups and expand to newer geographies.

ITC’s Sunfeast YiPPee! was launched in 2010 at the backdrop of a growing need for variety in the category. YiPPee! currently has offerings in the instant noodles and pasta category. YiPPee! noodles range currently has four variants and pasta range has six variants. In the days to come, the brand is gearing up for new launches.
