This is in line with the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) that connects the digital health solutions of hospitals across the country to simplify processes and enable a host of other facilities like Digital Consultation, consent of patients, ease of access to medical records, etc. With this scheme, old medical records cannot get lost as every record is stored digitally.
