Kolkata: To promote Fitness and Sportsmanship, Cricket aficionados of Greenfield City are organizing the 4th Season of Legends Cup at Greenfield City Stadium, South Kolkata.
The tournament is on the lines of Legends Series played internationally with players (residents of GFC) above the age of 35 participates and puts up fabulous performances.
The Tournament will be inaugurated on 24the December. It is a 2-day Day & Night Tournament to be held on 25th and 26th December, 2021.
It is a T-10 cricket league for their residents with 10 teams participating in a league format (in 2 groups) with top 4 teams making it to the Semi finals and thereof 2 Semi final winners to clash for the Grand Finale.
Team names are on the lines of all Cricketing Legends of Indian Cricket – Ganguly Leaders, Dravidian Walls, Mahi Finishers, Jumbo Twisters, Laxman Fighters, Nehra Pacers, Sachin Blasters, Sehwag Smashers, Srinath Firefighters and Zaheer Yorkers.
