Kolkata: STAGE, India’s first and largest dialect-based OTT platform, has released the supernatural thriller web series ‘DAHAN’ on its Bengali vertical. Set against the backdrop of an old zamindar mansion in North Kolkata, the series revolves around a 14-year-old mystery and a gripping tale of reincarnation. Since its release, ‘DAHAN’ has been gaining rapid popularity among Bengali audiences. In just 10 days, the series has crossed 1.7 million views, reflecting the tremendous enthusiasm and appreciation from viewers.
A Strong Beginning for STAGE in Bengal – STAGE Bangla went live on the platform on July 8, while its official launch took place on July 14. With original content in Bengali rooted in local stories, folklore and culture, STAGE has established a strong presence in Eastern India’s largest regional entertainment market.

What is ‘DAHAN’ About? – The story begins in an old zamindar mansion in North Kolkata, where Nandini, the eldest daughter-in-law of the family, had died mysteriously 14 years ago. Years later, a 14-year-old girl arrives at the same mansion and claims to be Nandini. What follows is a journey through reincarnation, mystery and unresolved truths, revealing new questions and startling secrets to the audience with every episode.
