Imphal: Chief Minister of Manipur N Biren Singh has condemned the attack on a special train ferrying stranded people from Goa to Manipur.
Manipur CM took to twitter and said, “I strongly condemn the attack on a special train, ferrying stranded people from Goa to my state. A mob attacked the train on Sunday when it halted in Bihar. I appeal to Bihar CM Nitish Kumar to book miscreants immediately. Requesting Railways Minister to look into this.”
Subsequent to the Ministry of Home Affairs order regarding movement of migrant workers, pilgrims, tourists, students and other persons stranded at different places by special trains, Indian Railways had decided to operate “Shramik Special” trains.
