Kolkata: Odisha-based electric two-wheeler manufacturing company, EeVe India is planning to expand in the West Bengal Market. The Company also plans to cater other Eastern and North Easten states like Bihar, Assam and Jharkhand, which includes cities like Tinsukia, Dibrugarh, Tezpur, Guwahati, Barpeta, Ranchi, Dhanbad, Patna, Muzaffarpur Munger and Darbhanga.
Addressing a virtual press meet recently, Harsh Vardhan Didwania, Co-founder, EeVe India said, “We are looking forward to becoming the focus automobile company and lead the sector in West Bengal. We have 10 dealership and 12 other outlets here. We plan to have another 15 dealerships to cover all the districts. We want to be No.1 in the state by 2021-22.”
Harsh Vardhan Didwania added, “We aim to establish ourselves as one of the pioneer manufacturers of electric scooters in the near future. We are the fastest growing company and target to have 30% of market share by end of coming financial year. We are also planning to develop high speed E-Bikes and E-Scooter and Electric Three Wheelers.”
Speaking about the demand, Harsh Vardhan Didwania said, “The demand from urban population right now is more but we are expecting bigger numbers from rural market once the penetration becomes better.”
Various ranges and models of Atreo, Ahava, Wind, Your, 4U, and Xeniaa are available in West Bengal. EeVe scooters have features like an anti-theft lock, USB port, keyless entry, geo-tagging, and have IoT enabled scooters along with a 5-year warranty on purchase. Scooters are powered by advanced lithium-ion batteries and take 3 to 4 hours to charge completely. The scooters run 75 plus kilometres on a single full charge. The Price Range of the Scooters is between Rs. 51,900 to Rs. 74,900.
