Guwahati: Senior BJP Leader and Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Saturday addressed mega public rallies for the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) Elections.
Elections to the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC), earlier deferred due to the COVID-19 pandemic, will be held in two phases on December 7 and 10.
Addressing a public rally in Baganpara, Himanta Biswa Sarma said, “We are here to reassure you of @BJP4Assam’s commitment of all-round progress of #Bodoland.”
Sarma said, “We shall ensure the pace of progress of BTC goes unabated, I told an enthusiastic group of people at Sreerampur in #Kokrajhar.”
He also thanked people for coming out in large numbers and reposing their faith in grand vision of PM Narendra Modi.
