Barrackpore: Chairman of Barrackpore Municipality Uttam Das announced to start a 24/7 ambulance service in Barrackpore. The Chairman also spoke at length on the importance of wearing mask and maintaining social distancing.
He said that people should not go out without any valid reason. Country is going through a tough time and people should understand the seriousness of the situation, he added.
He also said due to COVID19 fear people are not getting proper ambulance service, so keeping that in mind, Barrackpore Municipality decided to launch a 24/7 ambulance service in Barrackpore.
Uttam Das also asked people to follow lockdown rules and avoid going out unless it is very important. He added that people’s involvement is essential in this fight and said that people must be constantly reminded to use masks, face cover, and maintain physical distancing. He said that the collective commitment to fight against the virus will lead us to victory.
